The Leadership Club - Students learn leadership skills by assisting the Sensei during class. They do this in a variety of ways. Leadership Club Members set a strong example of proper karate technique and discipline by leading the class through various exercises. In order to do this, they must know their karate well and have a higher level of focus. Members are also taught the value of positive reinforcement. Members participate in a leadership role each week and attend a leadership club meeting once each month. Each month members are required to do a specific homework assignment that will help them develop stronger leadership skills. Members that complete all the assignments, and show a strong understanding of the principles and concepts, are awarded special patches.
**(Membership in the Leadership Club is by invitation only. Students must posses the appropriate attitude, discipline and technique in order to be invited.)
